Coral and lemonade!

Out of lemons make lemonade.

I think I have done it. I took my monstrous creation of a spider and cut the legs much shorter, I full fused the piece together to get a flat product again. That took about 12 to 14 hours .

I slumped the flat product over a metal fusing mold. That took about 18 hours. This morning I got my final piece out of the kiln. All told this particular project was fired 5 times to get this final result. Next time I think I would only need a full fuse and then a slump fuse but I learned a lot by making this one small piece. More coral bowls to come!

I included one reminder of the spider at the bottom right of the page. Ugh!
