One Year In York City

We have accomplished so much!

Continued to offer quality beginning stained-glass classes through Eventbrite. Click on the link to see current classes offered.
Create a retail environment for artists and makers in the region. We work with over 30 makers and continue to add more quality artisans monthly.
Create a Gallery of Regional Artists rotating monthly. Our next Gallery Opening is tonight. Jax Wintersteele's amazing "Nature in Miniature". See the calendar of events!
Meet the Artist this Saturday from 12-4.
Host live music in our Gallery space. Intimate time spent with amazing musicians. Our next event is tentatively scheduled for April 11th with Olds Sleeper.
Participate in a year of First Friday events organized by Creatives on King.
Organize a charity drive to collect toiletry donations for students and families in need within the York City limits, to be donated to the William Penn School District through Family First Health.
Host a stop on several of the "crawls" through York City, organized by Downtowninc and The Handsome Cab.
We have an actual Detective Agency that rents space from us, (Lancaster Detective Agency)
Collaborate with many of the wonderful businesses on Royal Square and Beyond in this wonderful Tapestry that is York.

What Is Next...

Start a Farmers Market - Second Sundays on King. We are looking for vendors and makers. Spread the word. May through November at the corner of King and Queen St. Click the link for more information.
Welcoming new artists to offer classes in our space.
Continue to engage with YCEA and apply for grants to continue to offer First Friday events and one-of-a-kind experiences in York.
Offer working artist studio space.
Offer a service industry day. Once a month open on a day to allow our service industry folks a chance to see what makes Royal Square and The Glass Turtle Studio so special.
